A sixteen year old girl stab her father to death because, he had being molesting her

Damilola Aderibigbe,a 16 year old daughter who allegedly stabbed her Father , Mr Adekoya Aderibigbe to death. In Owode Area of Ogun State. She claims to be a victim of rape for over a period of 8 years .

She said her mother left home because of domestic Violence, and her father has been sleeping with her ever since then.

It all started when I was 11 years old . My Dad came home drunk while I was sleeping on the couch and my drunk father raped me that very day. It was a sad and a bitter experience for me and I don’t have anyone around to tell. I was constantly abused.

When arrested, she gave an account on why she have to kill her wicked father, She claimed to have met a male friend in December , whom she loves and admire. She explained all her challenges to her boyfriend, and the boy advised her to expose her father to the world.

My father opened a store for me in front of his house , so he can constantly abuse me .

“On February 7 , my father called me to come to his room and I refused. He was so angry that he beats me and dragged me, and it didn’t go well with me. I rushed to the kitchen to get a knife “.

She said she used the knife on him, Stabs him repeatedly until she knew he is Dead. She then ran to a nearby police station for help.

She is in the police custody, however she is in a horrible state of mind .

She might not be charged to court has many eye witness gave an account on how wicked the father is. Brutal and devilish. They claimed it might be self defense.

What do you think the police would do? Charge with murder or release for self defense?

However, I think the law should take its course.
